The Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the provincial Department of Ecological Environment issued a notice on Further Strengthening the Implementation Plan of Plastic Pollution Control. By the end of 2020, catering, hotels, hotels, supermarkets and other industries in Chengde will take the lead in implementing the plan. Chengde banned the production and sale of ultra-thin plastic bags, plastic film and foamed plastic products. Sales of plastic cosmetics will be banned by the end of 2022.
